Review: Sagem my400V Mobile Phones

Sagem Mobiles are famous for there different look and style which is really impressive. We got a chance to review the latest Sagem my400V recently and here is what we observed. Sagem my400V is quite a normal handset with all the basic features of a cell phone. This Dualband GSM phone looks quite handy and is perfect for all the style lovers. This phone weighs mere 75 grams which makes it really light. It has a CSTN 65K color display which we felt a little different from the other mobile phones of this range. Sagem could have used TFT display which is more familiar to people now a days. But, this display is not that impressive. You get several inbuilt polyphonic ringtones with this phone, which are not that up to the mark but are good at this price. This phone also has GPRS and Infrared Port, which we felt quite unwanted. A phone with such minimum features, we think, doesn’t need GPRS. But, if you are getting it then it’s your sheer luck. It has a VGA camera with 640x480 pixels. It also has a video recording option. This phone gives you the freedom to use Java MIDP 2.0.

We specially liked the color and design of this phone. The Blue handset which we got to review had a nicely done art on it which was quite attractive. This phone has a good keypad with quite spacious and easy keys. The rear side has the camera which isn’t in centre like other phones but at the corner. This was little difficult for us to shoot pictures as lens was right under our fingers. This phone has a 350 hours standby time with a 4 hour talk time. Overall this phone can be a good option for low end users.
