The Motorola A1200 mobile phone is a clamshell PDA Quad-band phone which works with GSM 850/ /900/ 1800/ 1900 networks. The phone is powered by a strong and steady Intel XScale 312 Mhz processor and runs on a stable Linux operating system. The Motorola A1200 mobile phone comes with a beautiful 2 megapixel camera which can take still photos at 1600 x 1200 pixels.

The Motorola A1200 mobile phone comes with a 256k color TFT touchscreen with handwriting and speech recognition software. In many aspects the phone is similar to the Motorola A728 mobile phone but definitely an upgrade of features. The Motorola A1200 mobile phone also includes a FM Radio, Mp3/AAC/MP4 player for playback. It has various document viewer features along with Java MIDP 2.0. The Motorola A1200 mobile phone comes with GPRS as the only data network which can be used with the xHTML and HTML browser which are pre-installed with the phone. The Motorola A1200 mobile phone comes with a microSD card slot which can take memory cards upto 2Gb. It also has a Bluetooth port and an Usb port for connecting the phone to your computer.
