Motorola has launched its low end budget series phone Motorola W215. This phone is basically designed to focus on the niche market where the buyer needs a simple phone with some basic features. Motorola W215 does exactly the same. This is a DualBand GSM phone which is an ideal phone for those who need a phone to be just a phone. This 78 grams phone looks little stylish as it has the Motorola legacy to talk about. Certainly, one thing that Nokia does the best is its style. This phone looks quite elegant and stylish. It has a TFT screen with 65K colors display. I liked this model because this looks quite simple and it’s good for non technical and simple people. The polyphonic ringing is also quite melodious. This phone has a huge phonebook which can store up to 500 numbers. I think it’s best for people with a large social circle.

This phone has a FM radio. We checked the sound quality and the signal catching strength, both were quite satisfying. This phone also has a VGA camera and video recording. But, the biggest disappointment is the 1MB internal memory. This phone has a camera, recorder and has a mere 1 MB space, what can store in it? Another thing, there isn’t any GPRS, Bluetooth or USB then why the camera. May be Motorola wants to prove the saying ‘something is better than nothing’. But we felt it really amusing that why a buyer will spend more bucks for this ancient camera? This phone could have been a better budget phone without this camera and recorder also. This phone has a 300 hour stand by battery and a satisfactory 7 hours talk time. Moreover, Motorola W215 is a good budget phone which is stylish, affordable and really affordable.
