The mobile phone was just recently announced in the last week of July. The BenQ-Siemens SL91 mobile phone is a 3G mobile phone with a 3.2Megapixel camera capable of taking still photos at 2048x1536 pixels. The camera of this mobile phone is quite appealing, with autofocus, and also the camera is capable of taking videos, along with the VGA video call feature. The mobile phone has a MP3/AAC//XMF player for your audio files which can be stored in the 64Mb internal memory or even your extra memory card if you buy one. The mobile phone also has a FM Radio built in. The mobile phone takes microSD (Transflash) memory. The mobile phone has an awesome display, a TFT 16Million color display at 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The navigation buttons as reported are great and touch sensitive. The BenQ-Siemens SL91 mobile phone has GPRS and is also 3G enabled. There is no Infrared facility in the mobile phone but you have Bluetooth and a Usb port for transferring data, anyways Infrared is rarely used nowadays but can be useful when using it with other older mobile phones which don’t have Bluetooth. The mobile phone has a battery life of about 3 hours talktime and 300+ hours of standby. The BenQ-Siemens SL91 mobile phone is due to be released sometime in the last quarter of 2006. Price of this beauty is still unknown.
