Samsung E950 is a slim slider with loads of features; it seems to be an improved version of Samsung E900. The Samsung E950 measures 98 x 46 x 15 millimetres and comes in attractive black and metallic finishing. If not us trust us the pictures the phone looks stylish. The best feature that Samsung E590 offers is its touch sensitive navigation through out the phone’s interface, same as its precursor Samsung E900. The user can get touch panel input in the 1.2 inch display in the phone. But the touch screen navigation system can be dodgy at times, but let’s hope Samsung has fixed the problem this time. The phone is fitted with a 3 megapixel camera. But don’t expect much as it lacks auto focus and produces average quality photos which may disappoint some people. It comes with the microSD memory card slot so you don’t have to bother about the space for your songs, images and videos. Its compact size and weight makes it easy to carry in hand, pocket or the handbags. But I am you’re the user will like to carry it his hand because of his seductive looks.

The phone is packed with the 262K colour TFT display with a QVGA (320×240 pixels) resolution and Bluetooth with A2DP. For all the music lovers who must be worried by now, it does have FM radio and TV out facility but that’s it. It is not a music phone, sorry. The Samsung E590 offers MS Office documents viewer but let us warn you it is really slow. Another disadvantage or minus points is that Java applications can only be installed through WAP. The phone has nice web browser which will make many people happy. The Samsung E590 comes with a Data cable and a 512MB card and with a decent battery backup. Now let’s have a close look at the phone. As we have told you the phone is touch sensitive so there are no beautifully or differently designed keys sticking out of the phone which we can analyse.When in active mode the touchpad display red backlighting and white fonts, which look attractive, to some it may not though.

But if you are worried about the size of the keys don’t worry as no compromise has been made with the standard comfortable size of the keys. If you will move to the left side of the phone you will find a volume rocker and a port for plugging the charger, a headset and the data cable. Samsung has really worked on the looks you see no ugly wholes in the phone to spoil the looks. The strangest or the much unexpected thing is that Samsung is not offering charger with the phone. How can they do this, really? May be it’s their way of saying we don’t made the best headset sorry, you deserve better. Whatever? Going to the right side of the phone the user will find an ON and off key which can be used to unlock the handset when the slider is closed or even wake up the touch-sensitive keypad if you let it turn off. You must be guessing where is the Camera release button well obviously if it’s not on the left side it will be on right. And if are talking about the camera release button let us tell you the Camera is in its immoveable position on the back of the phone. It is revealed when the phone is in the open position. A self portrait mirror is also placed next to the camera in case the user wants to take his or her pictures. The handset also features a LED flash for better pictures.
