Finally after a long wait we got to see the new Sony Ericsson P1. We now review the much-hyped Sony Ericsson model that had made numerous headlines. Sony Ericsson P1 is a multitasking Symbian phone by the manufacturer, which was already in news before its arrival. This phone has a Symbian 9.1 operating system. This smart phone has UIQ 3.0 interface. Sony recently launches this phone it’s named P1, though there were various speculations about the name of this mobile phone. P1 is a smart gadget with various new features available in Sony. The overall look of this phone is quite satisfying though I can’t say it’s some design wonder but it looks quite sleek and good. It has a 2.6″ 262k TFT color screen. The TFT display has a QVGA resolution, which makes this phone look more stylish and sober. P1 has a 3.2-mega-pixel camera with auto focus. We haven’t tested the features of this phone but at least we can speculate that this phone will have a decent camera…hail Sony. This phone has a 3G support with video calling facility. This is a multi tasking phone with various unique features.

Sony Ericsson P1

You get Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard and USB. This smart gadget also has a FM radio, which we felt a little aberrant feature for a phone like this one. For easy use this phone provides you a memory stick M2 slot. It has a 208 MHz processor same as the Sony Ericsson P990 and the Sony Ericsson M600. It has a 128 MB RAM, which is exactly double as that of the P990 and M600. In addition it has a 160 MB of integrated memory. This phone has handwriting recognition software so you can directly write on it. Another worth mentioning feature is the Business Card Scanning application, where the phone can scan the business card and automatically store the data to the contact list.
