The Samsung E420 mobile phone is also a clamshell phone announced last week with a whole host of other Samsung handsets. This one is more of an entry level phone which measures close to 83.6 x 45.5 x 17.4 mm. The phone is set to release and will be available at retailers close to December. It comes with a 65k color OLED screen with a display resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The screen is pretty big at 2 inches. The external screen of the clamshell is also of the same specifications.

There are no great frills in the Samsung E420 mobile phone, no Bluetooth, no memory card slot and no high speed data networks supported. The phone has only 2 mb of shared internal memory which is surely not enough. The camera of the Samsung E420 mobile phone is also a very ordinary VGA resolution one.

On the whole the phone is nothing great, and is a big miss in my opinion. There are much better options available right now, and I don’t see the point for Samsung to release this in a few months time. The Samsung E420 mobile phone comes only in white and red, look wise it is good enough, but there is no value for money.
