The BenQ P31 mobile phone is a Tri band GSM phone weighing about 150 grams and measuring 118 x 52 x 17 mm. The BenQ P31 mobile phone has a good 65k color TFT touch screen, so it’s a candy bar handset along with smart phone capabilities. The screen has a 208 x 320 pixel resolution display which is really good, and physically the screen looks big too. The BenQ P31 mobile phone has support for 64 channel polyphonic tones but on the downside you cannot keep mp3 tunes are your ringer tones.

The BenQ P31 mobile phone has a 1.3 mega pixel camera, Java MIDP 2.0, Mpeg-4 player along with a Mp3 player too. The BenQ P31 mobile phone comes with special hand writing recognition software which works pretty well. The BenQ P31 mobile phone is powered by a OMAP processor which I must say is not the best, but the Symbian OS UIQ is pretty stable and helps the applications run smoothly. The phone comes with GPRS capabilities. There is a Bluetooth and an Infrared port too for connecting the phone to your computer.

The battery of the BenQ P31 mobile phone lasts for about 5 hours talk time and close to 120 + hours of standy. The BenQ P31 mobile phone has a good WAP 2.0 and a xHTML browser for using the internet and checking emails.
