The Pantech PG-1800 mobile phone is a Tri band GSM phone from Pantech which works with GSM 900/ 1800/ 1900 networks and it includes GSM 850 for the North American region. The phone was announced in June this year and is scheduled for a first quarter 2007 release. The Pantech PG-1800 mobile phone comes with a 260k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 120 x 160 pixels. The screen measures close to 1.8 inches in size.

The Pantech PG-1800 mobile phone is a decent looking clamshell and the external screen is also a good one with 65k colors and a 96 x 96 pixel resolution screen. The Pantech PG-1800 mobile phone comes with a microSD card slot and 256mb of slash memory. In addition to these memory options there is also 64mb of PSRAM internal memory.

The downside for the phone is a pretty poor camera which can take photos and videos only at VGA resolution. The battery life of the Pantech PG-1800 mobile phone is close to 2 and half hours talk time and about 100 + hours of standby only. The phone is available in black and silver and comes with Bluetooth and an Usb pop port.
