The i-mate Smartphone2 mobile phone is one of the oldest i-mate phones out there. It has a candy bar design with a normal keypad unlike it’s contemporaries. The phone is a Tri-band GSM phone weighing around 129 grams and measures approximately 120 x 50 x 23.5 mm.
The i-mate Smartphone2 mobile phone comes with a 65k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. You can store 16 channel polyphonic tunes, which aren’t the best quality since 64 channels is the best you get these days. There is also room for mp3 tones since the i-mate phone can store data in the MMC card slot. The MMC card slot can take cards upto the size of 1GB. The i-mate Smartphone2 mobile phone is powered by a OMAP 710 132MHz processor. The phone also comes with 64mb of ROM and 32mb RAM. Surprisingly the phone runs on a pretty old Microsoft Smartphone 2003 operating system.It also comes with a VGA resolution camera which can record videos too.
The downside when talking about the i-mate Smartphone2 mobile phone is the extremely low standy-by time which is only 90 hours. The talktime offered by the phone is close to 3 and half hours.
