The i-mate Smartflip mobile phone is a Quad-band phone which works with 850/ 900/ 1800 and 1900 GSM networks from i-mate also produced by HTC. The phone was announced in late February this year and weighs close to 100 grams and measures approximately 98 x 51 x 15.8 mm.

The i-mate Smartflip mobile phone comes with a 65k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The screen measures about 34 x 45mm. The second external screen is a 128 x 128 pixel resolution 65k color screen. The external display is surprisingly big at 1.2 inches. The phone is powered by a OMAP 850 195MHz processor with 64mb RAM and ROM each. The phone also supports data networks like GPRS and EDGE. The i-mate Smartflip mobile phone also includes other features like Bluetooth v1.2 and an Usb v1.1. With the i-mate Smartflip mobile phone you can use 40 channel polyphonic ringtones as well as mp3 tunes.

The i-mate Smartflip mobile phone also has a 1.3 megapixel camera which can take still photos at 1280 x 1024 pixels. The camera also comes with a video recording feature. The PocketIE version of the HTML browser is pretty crucial when it comes to browsing the net.
