The i-mate JAM mobile phone is a PDA cum Tri-band mobile phone from i-mate. The phone was announced in early 2005 and is now available for a price of $520. The i-mate JAM mobile phone is pretty heavy weighing in at 150grams. It has a 65k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
The i-mate JAM mobile phone runs on a Intel PXA272 416Mhz processor, with 64mb of RAM. The phone comes with GPRS as a data connectivity option to go along with the WAP / xHTML and HTML browser. The i-mate JAM mobile phone has a 1.3 megapixel camera which can take videos at VGA resolution and still photos at 1280 x 960 pixles. The i-mate JAM mobile phone also comes with other accessories like a Mp3/AAC player, Office applications, Java and a Audio /Video album. It also has Bluetooth and an Infrared port for data transfer. The phone houses a HTML browser for the internet to go along with the GPRS. Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 SE is the operating system used by the i-mate JAM mobile phone.
The battery of the i-mate JAM mobile phone lasts for about 3 and half hours talktime and approximately 180+ hours of talktime. The phone is available in silver, black and white.
