The Samsung Z550 mobile phone is a very different looking slider phone announced earlier this year by Samsung. The Samsung Z550 mobile phone works with both UMTS as well as Tri-band GSM networks. The Samsung Z550 mobile phone weighs about 95grams and measures about 93 x 45 x 17.5 mm.

The Samsung Z550 mobile phone has a 256k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The display measures 30 x 40mm which is quite big. Polyphonic ringtones and Mp3 files can be stored and used as Ringer tones for the phone. The Samsung Z550 mobile phone has a microSD card slot which can take memory cards upto 2GB. The phone also has 138mb of internal shared memory.
