The NEC N411i mobile phone is a Tri-band GSM phone, it is named the NEC N850 for the China region. The phone was announced last year and is better than an entry-level phone. It has a 1.3 Megapixel camera which can take still photos at 1280×1024 pixels. The camera can also record video at VGA resolution.

The internal screen of the clamshell is a 65k color TFT display with a 176×220 pixel resolution along with an external one which is an ordinary 4096 color display. You can keep polyphonic rintones (64 channels), and you can also download them. The number of ringtones you can store are fixed and you will have to overwrite them which is quite poor. The phone doesn’t have a memory card slot and has small amount of shared memory, 26mb to be precise. The NEC N411i mobile phone has a WAP/ xHTML browser with iMode. The phone is also equipped with a Mp3 player, SyncML, T9 and Voice dial facility.

The battery of the NEC N411i mobile phone lasts for 3hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby. The NEC N411i mobile phone has GPRS ( between 32 – 48 kbps ), which is useful for data connectivity and the Email options already on the phone. There is Bluetooth, Infrared and a Usb port to transfer data from phone to phone or phone to the computer.
