The LG S5200 Mobile Phone is one of the few LG mobiles targeted at the mass market, rather than the innovative end of the market, which LG has become associated with.  This is not to say that there is anything wrong with the phone, because it still has all of the basic facilites you would expect.  The style is also compact and stylish, with a shiny black finish.

Like many mass market phones, the rectangle shaped design allows the key panel to slide smoothly behind the display screen, which dominates this particular model.  The screen has a standard 128×160 pixel display, which is complimented by the 1.3 megapixel camera.  Internal memory is a basic 66Mb, which although ample for the facilities available, is slightly dissapointing.

The LG S5200 Mobile Phone is smaller and lighter than many of the other mass market phones, with dimensions of 93×46x21mm and weighing in at only 95 grams.  Small and compact, this model is perfect for easy storage, and you wont know that you are carrying it.

The 3 hours talk time, and 8 day standy time is a little disappointing, as is the MP3 facility which is supported by a low memory capacity. While this limits the number of songs / albums that you can store, there is still enough memory to store a small selection of you favourite songs.  Unfortunately it does not compare favourably with its peers on this level.

On the positive side, the phone has Bluetooth, Polyphonic and Java Games as standard to help on those long journeys.  While a litle dissapointing overall, the LG S5200 Mobile Phone does offer good value for money.
