Motorola RIZR Mobile Phone

The Motorola RIZR mobile phone is an enhancement to the Motorola RAZR mobile phone series this time with a slider. The mobile phone was announced just recently in July 2006. The Motorola RIZR mobile phone works with GSM networks, 850/900/1800/1900.
The mobile phone is a bit heavier than the Motorola RAZR mobile phone weighing about 115grams. It is also a tad bit bigger as a result measuring at 106 x 46 x 16 mm. The Motorola RIZR mobile phone has a nice TFT 256K color display with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution. The mobile phone has a 2Megapixel camera and can take still photos at 1600×1200 pixel resolution.
The Motorola RIZR mobile phone has 20MB internal memory and an extra microSD card slot so it can be expandable to 512MB. Data transfer utilities like GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, and USB 2.0 interface is present in the mobile phone too. The mobile phone would be available in a few colors but that’s not yet announced since we have only seen a few pictures of the mobile phone in maroon and black.
The battery life is mentioned at 3 and half hours of talktime and over 230 hours of standby in their brochures. The price at which it will be launched is still not known.
